Who We Are:

Building a Home for Creativity

For the past four years, Hive Arts Academy has operated from the studio of Lisa Puzon and Shaughnessy Johnson. As the program continues to grow, we are developing plans for a permanent facility, with an anticipated opening in summer 2027.

The new Hive Arts Academy facility will provide a safe, flexible, and inspiring environment where students can learn, create, collaborate, and explore. The space is envisioned to include specialized areas for visual art, sculpture, sewing and fiber arts, culinary instruction, and engineering and fabrication projects.

More than a building, this future home will be a place where young people can:

  • Discover their potential

  • Work alongside mentors

  • Develop real-world skills

  • Imagine new possibilities for their futures
